Announcing Future Sounds

Kensington Presents is excited to announce FUTURE SOUNDS, a new summer Festival at The Viaduct. Los Angeles Magazine called The Viaduct “the most interesting new venue in Los Angeles” and Timeout named it one of “8 secret L.A. spots you need to visit.” On August 3rd, this secret space at the tip of the Los Angeles State Historic Park will come to life with eclectic live acts, immersive activations, curated food vendors, craft bars and more. SIX LIVE ACTS

A handpicked mix of established and emerging acts will perform on a pop-up stage under the oldest bridge in LA, with a view onto the city’s skyline. Confirmed artists include pop rocket Jesse Jo Stark, sultry R&B vocalist Raquel Rodriguez, neo-soul phenom Stan Taylor, disco duo CAPYAC, electro-soul artist syd B and jazz-funk virtuoso Floyd Fuji. The result is a soulful, high-energy line up as hot as the streetlights and spotlights at The Viaduct.

IMMERSIVE ACTIVATIONS

The secret space at the tip of the Los Angeles State Historic Park will also come alive with amazing experiential elements, including (to name a few) handpicked food vendors, craft bars, goods from Zig Zag, improv poetry from Ars Poetica, futuristic interaction, live screen printing from Made Daze and performance art.
